“Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14

This verse in Philippians is a sweet reminder that Christ is our ultimate goal - the past is gone and our focus is forward towards the prize. The prize of having a relationship with our loving Father, who loves us unconditionally. The prize of spending eternity with Him where our past mistakes or failures do not matter.

Mamas, none of us are perfect. Everyone has goals as well as obstacles they are striving to overcome. And sometimes, when we are unsuccessful in reaching our goals, we can beat ourselves up or stop trying altogether.

But sisters, we cannot give up!

Even if you’ve messed up along the way, keep pressing on! It’s okay if you’ve managed to skip a few workouts, or if you served mac n’ cheese for the third time this week, our imperfections are not something that should hold us back. Get back up again and continue moving forward! Forward towards your goals without looking back. Forward towards Christ whose love is perfect, even when we are not.
