FSM's Bible Devotional for Busy Moms & Women: 1 Peter 4:10
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 4:10-11
Sisters, what if I told you, you already had everything you need?
You are beautiful, incredible, blessed, and honorable.
You are a powerful woman who has the capacity to reach every dream she thinks of!
You are favored by God, and He has your life in His hands!
AND He has already given you the gifts you need to bring Him glory!
Sometimes we wait around hoping that God will just drop our next steps, or direction in our lap. And while there is power in prayer and a season of waiting… it is important to know that Christ has already empowered us with the gifts and tools that we need and that right now, where we are, we can use those beautiful gifts to bless others and point them to His love. Right here. Right now.
Today I want you to hit pause and think of the gifts that he has blessed you with, and to take a minute to thank Him for them and to ask Him to help you keep your eyes open to opportunities that you might miss to use these gifts to love on others.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve nearly missed amazing opportunities to serve others because I didn’t recognize that my God-given gifts were the answer in that moment.
So let’s make an effort to not miss those opportunities! I encourage you to take a few minutes to write down your strengths, and then list 5 ways that you can use these gifts in your normal every day routine. Are these opportunities that you are missing to share your gifts with others and point them to our Heavenly Father? Let’s take these opportunities this week!
