FSM Healthy Living & Nutrition Basics

Hey Sister! A lot of you have been asking about the nutritional & food side of a healthy lifestyle to compliment working out…. So today I’m thrilled to start an informational course that I’ve pulled together to help you on your health journey! Over the next few weeks I’m going to be sharing information that I’ve found through my own personal research that has helped me on my journey to happy and healthy!

Every day I’m going to be sharing a new tidbits of information, pictures, videos, and more (hopefully in a logical order!) that comes from personal experience and research. The goal is not to overwhelm, but to help give you the knowledge & empowerment of understanding some of these not-often discussed things so that you can choose what is best for you and your family!

Throughout this course I’m going to be combining two things that have helped me get to where I am today: intuitive eating concepts (it’s all about making PEACE with your feelings about food) and basic nutrition facts (understanding the nitty gritty of what types of food do what things for your body).

I’m not going to be focused on one particular “diet”, and if I ever provide meal plans or suggestions, I typically go by: 1. Does it fuel my body with the right nutrients, 2. Is it simple to make and 3. Is it delicious for the whole family to enjoy!

Before we get started, I just want to clarify that: I’m not a licensed nutritionist or doctor…so I can’t say what’s best for you in your situation. My goal is to help you learn & find great resources to read more about nutrition & eating to fuel your body, because a lot of times we “know” what we are supposed to do (example: drink a lot of water every day) but we don’t necessarily know how or why we should be doing that. So, I’m hoping to provide you with helpful information that has inspired my journey & resources that you can look into further for your journey!
